Our Vision
At New Hebron Baptist Church we exist to make disciples of all nations. One of our core beliefs is that we serve a missionary God who sent his son, Jesus Christ, to earth to “seek & save the Lost” (Luke 19:10). Those Jesus’ saves are called to be His ambassadors to the lost in this world (2 Cor. 5:10). We believe every Christian is gifted with the Gospel message in order to share it with others (Romans 1:18). We believe that Jesus’ command to make disciples of every nation starts right at home. We follow the Acts 1:8 model for missions, that in order to reach the Ends of the Earth we must begin preaching the Gospel & planting churches right here in our community (Jerusalem). From there we aim to take the Gospel to our other parts of country & neighboring nations, the places that have may have access to the Gospel but have little to no support ministry support (Judea & Samaria). From there we desire to take the Gospels to other countries around the world, places that have little to no access to the Gospel or the Word of God (Ends of the Earth).
Our strategy for missions includes but is not limited to short term mission trips. We seek to establish intentional partnerships with missionaries all over the world. In doing this we seek to maintain continued support for those laboring in the field. A result of these partnerships is that we are able to continually invest in people, communities, & churches all over the globe.
